Agni Boost Appetizer

The combination of ginger, lime, and salt create a powerful appetizer to ignite the digestive fire (agni) and enliven the senses.  This medicine is for those who experience slow or dampened digestion and a lack of hunger.  It can also be used during a seasonal cleanse to help burn toxins (āma) from the system.
The two preparation methods that follow are exactly the same ingredients.  Fresh ginger root, lime, and salt.  That's it!  Preparation Method #1 is for making a larger quantity to store in the fridge, while Preparation Method #2 is for a single serving.

NOTE:
This Agni Boost Appetizer is quite heating, and should not be taken by people with excess pitta, an excessively sharp digestive fire, or anyone with symptoms of acid reflux, stomach ulcer, or other GI inflammation.

Ingredients:

  • Fresh ginger root
  • Lime
