CCF Tea

Cumin, Coriander, Fennel Tea
This is a classic tea blend to support the digestive system. It aids in the absorption of nutrients and stimulates the lymphatic system. This tea blend can be used any time, and is especially supportive to enhance the cleansing process. It is powerful, yet gentle and appropriate for all three doshas and any constitutional type. Drinking this tea will reduce gas, promote digestion, help reduce excess fat, and reduce toxins. Have a cup one hour before meals, or sip throughout the day.

Notes:

If you have an aversion to any of the herbs individually, you can make a tea using just two or even one of them. I rarely make plain cumin tea, only because it is rarely my medicine on its’ own. But I do often make plain coriander tea or plan fennel tea. As with most things, I encourage you to feel into your intuition and experiment.

Preparation

1. Combine equal parts of whole cumin, coriander, and fennel seeds in a jar and mix it.
2. Use 1 teaspoon of seed mix per cup of water. Make it stronger or weaker depending on your preference.
3. Bring to a boil, and let simmer for 10 minutes.
