Agni Nectar

This drinkable nectar will heat up your digestive fire (agni) and enliven the senses.  The combination of lemon, ginger, and honey make a potent medicine for people who experience slow or dampened digestion and a lack of hunger.  It can also be a supportive remedy for cold or flu, or during a seasonal cleanse to help burn toxins (āma) from the system.
This recipe makes a drinkable nectar that can be stored in the fridge for 3-5 days. A blender or food processor is required in order to follow this recipe.  If neither of those are available to you, check out the Agni Boost Appetizer.

NOTE:  Agni Nectar is quite heating, and should not be taken by people with excess pitta, an excessively sharp digestive fire, or anyone with symptoms of acid reflux, stomach ulcer, or other GI inflammation.
